The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing instant ice cream, and more specifically, to an apparatus for manufacturing instant ice cream with a housing space therein which comprises a main body with a housing space for cooling gas on part of the top surface toward the center, a cooling plate which is installed on the housing space for cooling gas to seal the housing space for cooling gas, an insulating member which covers the outer surface of the housing space for cooling gas, a cooling gas supplier which is installed on the other side of the main body to supply cooling gas into the housing space for cooling gas. According to the present invention, the simple structure which injects ultralow-temperature refrigerant into a housing space for cooling gas on the lower part of the cooling plate to cool the cooling plate facilitates manufacturing and reduces the manufacturing cost. Also, the direct cooling method which contacts the ultralow-temperature refrigerant with the cooling plate helps freeze the cooling plate more rapidly.
