PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and low-basis weight fiber sheet to be arranged in an absorbent product, having excellent liquid dispersibility and permeability as well as high paper strength suitable for the absorbent product, which requires further improvement in liquid absorbing speed and amount of liquid retained, and is preferably configured by a smaller and thinner absorber to obtain required sufficient absorption retainability, thereby improving portability and reducing the amount of materials, resulting in resource saving.SOLUTION: A fiber sheet 33 comprises a fibrous material, carboxymethylcellulose of 0.2-0.6 etherification degree and a wet paper strength-reinforcing agent.
