In the cultivation system which uses a transferring device, which transfers the cultivation panel between a plurality of accommodation parts for accommodating a plant and a cultivation panel of a flat shape having a hole in which the medium of the plant is embedded, the transferring device includes a gripping part which grips an edge part of the cultivation panel, and is provided with: a state determination part which determines a state of the cultivation panel or the plant that is a transferring target; and a gripping point determination part which determines, on the basis of the state determined by the state determination part, a point on the cultivation panel which is to be gripped by the gripping part.
