PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation device satisfying improvement of plant quality and the like while avoiding a decrease in plant production efficiency.SOLUTION: A cultivation unit 3 moves between two cultivation rooms each having environments different in a light quantity, by turning of a horizontal turning rack 30. As a result of this, a cultivation device can irradiate plants with light corresponding to sunshine change in a day, and produce plants with high quality or plants containing many specific useful components. Furthermore, only by passing an opening 2a set in a wall surface between the cultivation rooms adjacent to each other, the cultivation unit 3 easily and smoothly can move from one cultivation room to the other cultivation room with a different environment and maintain plant productivity.【課題】植物の生産効率の低下を回避しつつ、植物の品質等の向上を両立させることができる栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】栽培ユニット３は、水平回転棚３０の回転によって、光量においてそれぞれ異なる環境を有する二つの栽培室を移動する。そのため栽培装置は、一日の日照変化に対応した光を植物に照射することができ、品質の高い植物又は特定の有用成分を多く含む植物を生産することができる。また隣接する栽培室間の壁面に設けた開口２ａを通過するだけで、一方の栽培室から、環境の異なる他方の栽培室に栽培ユニット３が容易且つ円滑に移動し、植物の生産性を維持することができる。【選択図】図２
