The invention discloses a surgery simulating system having alarming function and a method of simulating surgery. The surgery simulating system of the present invention comprises an animal body model, a tool, a unit positioning device, a processing device and a warning device. The present invention also innovatively combines the magnetic position technology to the warning device for providing a user an ability of knowing the coordinate of the tool or the animal body model and the relative position thereof. Meanwhile, the alarming device of the present invention assists the user to determine whether the path of the tool is correct by various forms of alarming signal.
