PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezer that has a freezing compartment formed to store an object to be frozen, includes a cooling device which cools the freezing compartment and an ultrasonic device which radiates an ultrasonic wave to the freezing compartment, and efficiently cools the object by suitably controlling timing to radiate the ultrasonic wave.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the freezer that has the freezing compartment 8 formed to store the object to be frozen, and includes the cooling device 3 which cools the freezing compartment 8 and the ultrasonic device 4 which radiates the ultrasonic wave to the freezing compartment 8 to cool the object.
