PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce distortion occurring in an image by the motion of an object by accurately detecting the motion of the object from a plurality of temporally continuous images captured by a scan imaging system.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic apparatus has an imaging system including: an imaging means for temporally continuously imaging fundus of an eye to be inspected to capture first and second fundus images of the eye to be inspected and a light receiving means for receiving composite light, composed of return light from the eye to be inspected to which measuring light is emitted and reference light corresponding to the measuring light, to capture a tomographic image of the eye to be inspected.
