I had particles of what turned out to be pieces of the air filter in my glovebox in my2014 toyota corolla. I took my car to my Toyota dealer and was informed micehadentered my cabin air department and had been chewing holes in the air filter, and it waspossible for them to get into my glove box from the cabin air department. This made me curious and I looked up mice on my computer, , where I found theinformation , stated that mice can enter through a hole 1/4 inch square, Iinspected the airintake screen under my hood and discovered 7 (seven) 1/4 in holes, I designedsmallguards for the 7 holes that did not block the flow of air through the 1/4 inchholes. The guards are made of aluminum and held in place by stainless steel springsin order toeliminate any rusting problems.I have had the guards on my corolla now forthree yearsand have not had any more problems with mice.
