PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for raising an experimental animal, which facilitates the putting-in and out operation in a hardly escaping state of the experimental animal without requiring a special mechanism and a special-purpose member for preventing the escape when putting the experimental animal and a raising assistant material such as wood chips into or out of a cage body.SOLUTION: The cage for raising the experimental animal comprises the cage body 1 which is opened upward and has a nearly rectangular shape in the plane view, and a cage lid 2 in which a net 4 is extended and fixed to the inside of a rectangular periphery frame 3. The rectangular periphery frame 3 of the cage lid 2 has an inclined guide part 33 at least at one side, and the net 4 of the cage lid 2 has a flat part 4a facing to the inclined guide part 33 side and a concave part 4b for feeding. The inclined guide part 33 climbs over an opening periphery edge 11 of the cage body 1 by the inclined guide by pushing the cage lid 2 covering the cage body 1 frontward, and the cage lid 2 is slid frontward in a shape in which the horizontal part 4a runs up on the opening periphery edge 11 to open the opening part 10 of the cage body 1 at the rear side. The escape of the experimental animal M is prevented by putting in and out the animal through the opened part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】実験動物飼育ケージとして、ケージ本体に対して実験動物や木材チップ等の飼育補助材を出し入れする際に、逃亡防止のための各別な機構や専用部材を要することなく、実験動物が逃げ出しにくい状態で容易に出し入れ操作できるものを提供する。【解決手段】上方に開放した平面視略矩形のケージ本体1と、矩形周枠3の内側に金網4が張設固着されたケージ蓋2とからなる。ケージ蓋2の矩形周枠3は少なくとも一辺側に傾斜ガイド部33を有し、ケージ蓋2の金網4は傾斜ガイド部33側に臨む平坦部4aと給餌用凹陥部4bとを備えている。ケージ本体1上に被せたケージ蓋2を前方へ押すことにより、傾斜ガイド部33が傾斜誘導でケージ本体1の開口周縁11を乗り越し、ケージ蓋2が水平部4aを開口周縁11上に乗り上げる形で前方へスライドし、後方側でケージ本体1の開口部10が開くから、開いた部分から出し入れすることで実験動物Mの逃亡を防止できる。【選択図】図5
