PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for raising an experimental animal, having a cage body which is hardly deformed by heat or action of chemicals at sterilization, and has high strength, excellent durability and good handleability.SOLUTION: The cage for raising the experimental animal is constituted of the cage body 1 comprising a thermoplastic plastic container which is opened upward and has a nearly rectangular shape in the plane view, and a cage lid 2 for covering the cage body 1.
