PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to visually recognize the three-dimensional structure of a blood vessel or a lumen and to reflect the color of a color Doppler image or the like with good appearance.SOLUTION: In this ultrasonic image display method, a B mode image and a 3D image reversed in the degree of brightness are formed on the basis of B mode data and the color based on color Doppler data is reflected only with respect to the pixel of the 3D image becoming a predetermined value or below in brightness in the B mode image to form a color superposed 3D image. Accordingly, the three-dimensional structure of the blood vessel or the lumen is expressed by white on a black background and becomes easy to visually recognize. The protrusion of a color from the part of the blood vessel or lumen is provided and the blood vessel or the lumen can be colored with good outward appearance.
