SOLUTION: The blood flow observation apparatus 10 for observing the flow of blood in the blood vessel includes: a imaging device 20 for imaging the image of the blood vessel a specifying device 40 for specifying at least the movement speeds or movement directions of the blood in a plurality of places in the blood vessel included in the imaged image, based on the imaged image and a distribution data output device 60 for outputting data which indicates the distribution of at least the specified respective movement speeds or movement directions.
