To provide a minoxidil-containing composition prevented from discoloration for a long period.
SOLUTION: The minoxidil-containing composition is obtained by formulating at least one or two or more antioxidants selected from the group consisting of dibutyl hydroxytoluene, butyl hydroxyanisole, erythorbic acid, EDTA-2Na, isopropyl citrate, propyl gallate, guaiacic acid and &alpha - Thioglycerol, dichloroisocyanuric acid potassium, 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methylphenol, soybean lecithin, sodium thioglycollate, sodium thiomalate, ascorbyl palmitate, 2-mercapto benzimidazole, sulfuric acid oxyquinoline and wherein the concentration of the minoxidil in the composition is set at 3-10 mass% and is formulated with 1,3-butylene glycol and has a pH of 5.5-7.0.
