PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasound catheter devices and methods for treating occlusive intravascular lesions.SOLUTION: Ultrasound catheters 10 include: an elongate flexible catheter body 22 with one or more lumens an ultrasound transmission member 24 extending longitudinally through the catheter body lumen 21 and a distal head coupled with a distal end of the transmission member and positioned adjacent to a distal end of the catheter body for disrupting occlusions.
