The present invention provides a method for predicting the degree of growth of a tree when the tree is planted on land in question, the method including the following steps: (a) a step for acquiring data pertaining to growth of a plurality of trees planted in the vicinity of the land； (b) a step for analyzing soil color, soil characteristics, and/or soil nutrients with regards to the soil under each of the trees； (c) a step for obtaining an explanatory variable from the result of the analysis； (d) a step for using the explanatory variable to obtain a calibration formula with respect to data pertaining to growth of the trees； and (e) a step for analyzing the soil color, soil characteristics, and/or soil nutrients with regards to the soil on the land, fitting the analysis result into the calibration formula, and calculating and predicting the degree of growth of a tree if the tree is planted on the land.La présente invention concerne un procédé pour prédire le degré de la croissance d'un arbre lorsque cet arbre est planté sur un terrain en question, ce procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : (a) une étape consistant à acquérir des données se rapportant à la croissance d'une pluralité d'arbres plantés dans le voisinage de ce terrain ； (b) une étape consistant à analyser la couleur du sol, les caractéristiques du sol, et/ou les substances nutritives du sol, se rapportant au sol situé sous chacun des arbres ； (c) une étape consistant à obtenir une variable explicative à partir du résultat de l'analyse ； (d) une étape consistant à utiliser cette variable explicative pour obtenir une formule d'étalonnage par rapport aux données appartenant à la croissance des arbres ； et (e) une étape consistant à analyser la couleur du sol, les caractéristiques du sol, et/ou les substances nutritives du sol concernant le sol dudit terrain, à ajuster le résultat de l'analyse dans la formule d'étalonnage et à calculer et prédire le degré de croissance d'un arbre si lcet arbre est planté s
