PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed fiber-removing apparatus having a structure capable of precisely automating a uniform seed fiber-removing operation without enlarging the apparatus.SOLUTION: The seed fiber-removing apparatus 1 for removing awn covering the surface of a seed is equipped with a rotatable drum 2 having a meshed periphery face, and a foamed elastic body 3 supported in the inside of the drum 2 so as to be rotatable, and having tip parts 3A capable of contacting the inner periphery face of the drum 2 so as to be pressed by allowing the elastic body 3 to wave along the inner periphery face of the drum 2.
