Provided is a PTP packaging machine that can use non-defective contents in a non-wasteful manner and so on can realize device simplification and can suppress various costs. A filling device is provided with a downstream rotary drum 58 that is for filling pocket parts 2 with tablets 5 which are contents. The downstream rotary drum 58 has downstream suction parts 58A and is configured to be able to switch a state in which the tablets 5 are sucked to the downstream suction parts 58A. In the case where it is determined that a tablet 5 that will be supplied to a sheet-intended part which will eventually become a PTP sheet is defective the non-defective tablets 5 are maintained in a state of being sucked by the downstream suction parts 58A without the pocket parts 2 of the sheet-intended part being filled with the tablets 5 as a result of the downstream suction part 58A being in the sucking state. The tablets 5 that have been maintained in the state of being sucked to the downstream suction parts 58A will be used next time or a subsequent time filling is performed.
