It also relates to a Pharmaceutical composition.To be useful in the treatment of cancer, infectious disease and \/ or septicemia in a human being in need.Referido a una proteina de union a cualquier proteina co-estimulante de linfocito T inducible (ICOS) o porcion de union al antigeno de la misma que comprende uno o mas de: CDRH1 como se expone en SEC ID No: 1 CDRH2 como SEC ID No: 2 CDRH3 como SEC ID No:3 CDRL1 como SEC ID No: 4 CDRL2 como SEC ID No:5 y/o CDRL3 como SEC ID No:6 o un equivalente directo de cada CDR, en la que un equivalente directo tiene no mas de dos sustituciones de aminoacidos en dicha CDR. Esta proteina es agonista para ICOS humana y no induce complemento, dichas proteinas de union a reos o porciones de union al antigeno de las mismas, son capaces de activar un linfocito T cuando se pone en contacto con dicho linfocito T estimular la proliferacion de linfocitos T cuando se ponen en contacto con dicho linfocito T y/o inducir la produccion de citocinas cuando se ponen en contacto con dicho linfocito T. Tambien se refiere a una composicion farmaceutica. Siendo util en el tratamiento del cancer, enfermedad infecciosa y/o septicemia en un ser humano que lo necesite.
