PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter capable of suppressing positional deviation along an axial direction in a loop-shaped portion of a catheter tip part.SOLUTION: An electrode catheter 1 comprises: a flexible catheter body 21 a catheter tip part 22 having a loop-shaped portion a plurality of electrodes (221, 222) provided in the catheter tip part 22 and a core wire 42 having shape memory characteristics, which is inserted from the vicinity of a tip inside the catheter body 21 into the catheter tip part 22. The core wire 42 comprises: a linear part 42a having a cross section composed of an anisotropic shape having a long axis Ama and a short axis Ami a loop part 42c arranged inside the loop-shaped portion of the catheter tip part 22 and a relay part 42b which is a portion connecting the linear part 42a and the loop part 42c, and has a cross section composed of the anisotropic shape.
