The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing an Aplysia kurodai extract as an active ingredient for improving scalp and preventing alopecia. The Aplysia kurodai extract of the present invention suppresses the activity of 5alpha-reductase and effectively suppresses generation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
