The present invention relates to a method for colouring keratin fibres, comprising : - a first step of applying to the fibres a dyeing composition (a) comprising one or more dyes chosen from chromene dyes and chroman dyes, and one or more liquid organic compounds having a Hansen so lubility parameter δΗ of less than or equal to 16 Mpa 1 /2, then - a second step of applying to the fibres an oxidizing composition (b) comprising one or more oxidizing agents and one or more alkaline agents, one or more metal salts and/or metal oxides being present in at least one of the compositions (a) and (b), and/or being applied during an additional step by means of a composition (c). The invention likewise relates to a kit suitable for implementing this method.La présente invention porte sur un procédé pour la coloration de fibres de kératine, comprenant : une première étape consistant à appliquer aux fibres une composition de coloration (a) comprenant un ou plusieurs colorants choisis parmi les colorants chromènes et les colorants chromanes et un ou plusieurs composés organiques liquides ayant un paramètre de solubilité de Hansen δH inférieur ou égal à 16 MPa1/2 puis une seconde étape consistant à appliquer aux fibres une composition oxydante (b) comprenant un ou plusieurs agents oxydants et un ou plusieurs agents alcalins, un ou plusieurs sels métalliques et/ou oxydes métalliques étant présents dans la composition (a) et/ou la composition (b) et/ou étant appliqués pendant une étape supplémentaire au moyen dune composition (c). Linvention de même porte sur une trousse appropriée pour la mise en œuvre de ce procédé.
