The present invention provides a method for elimination of red fire ants, which particularly employs an operation flow of high temperature steam smolder to effectively eliminate the red fire ants. The apparatuses mainly required by the method include a steam processing machine and a steam zone for steam output, in which the output of the steam zone is connected with a cascading device, and the cascading device may directly release the high temperature steam, or may be further configured with a guide pipe for connection with more cascading devices to achieve the effect of high temperature steam split-flow. The elimination method includes the following steps: first connecting the steam processing machine and placing the cascading device for steam output beside the ant hill covering an air-tight mat with suitable size on top of the cascading device and the ant hill finally, applying the long-term high temperature steam smoldering operation. However, before placing the cascading device, suitable number of output cascading devices can be connected based on the number of ant hills, so as to simultaneously perform the elimination operation for several ant hills through the split-flow connections of cascading devices. Furthermore, after completion of the first smoldering operation, the ant hill may be plowed and inspected, and then repetitively perform the high temperature smoldering operation to achieve the best elimination effect for red fire ants.本發明係提供一種紅火蟻消除方法,特別是指透過高溫蒸氣悶燒之動作流程,使達到有效消除紅火蟻之功效;於此方法上需使用之裝置,主要係包括一蒸氣處理機及其供輸出蒸氣之蒸氣帶,並於蒸氣帶之導出端連結有一串接器,該串接器係可直接釋放高溫蒸氣,或另外裝設引導管,據以連接更多的串接器,達到高溫蒸氣分流之功效;是以在消除方法上,首先需連結蒸氣處理機,再將欲輸出蒸氣之串接器置於蟻丘旁,並於串接器及蟻丘上方覆蓋適當大小之不透氣墊體,最後則施以長時間的高溫蒸氣悶燒作業;然而在置放串接器前,得視蟻丘之數量,連結適當數目之輸出串接器,據以透過串接器之分流連結,可同時執行數個蟻丘之清除作業;又,在第一次悶燒作業完成後,可對其蟻丘進行翻土審視動作,並重複的執行高溫蒸氣悶燒作業,如此將可達到極佳的紅火蟻消除效果。
