PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanting machine in which a seedling picking member can be held without increasing the number of parts as much as possible and the turning of a link mechanism can be regulated.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanting machine includes a seedling planting unit attached to the rear of a traveling vehicle body traveling the field and planting seedlings and a movable preliminary seedling frame 8 provided at the front part of the traveling vehicle body. The movable preliminary seedling frame 8 includes: two or more preliminary seedling-loading tables 102 for mounting the seedlings replenished to the seedling planting part a link mechanism 103 switchable between a deployment mode with two or more preliminary seedling-loading tables 102 arranged in the longitudinal direction and a stacking mode with the two or more preliminary seedling-loading tables 102 vertically arranged in the longitudinal direction and a holding member 104 for holding the seedling picking member in order to catch the seedlings in the preliminary seedling-loading tables 102. The holding member 104 is turnably mounted around the axial center circumference parallel in the longitudinal direction to the preliminary seedling-loading tables 102.
