PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular motion simulator simulating the behavior of a blood vessel caused by a biodynamic load by a relatively simple structure, useful in the evaluation of the durability of a stent and in the objective evaluation of the anastomosis technique considering the behavior.
SOLUTION: The vascular motion simulator 10 is composed of an imitated blood vessel 31 made of an elastic tubular body filled with liquid first and second holder members 32 and 33 supporting both ends of the simulated blood vessel 31 in the direction of extension to operate the both ends in such a way as relatively rotatable a servo-motor 14 for driving the first and second holder members 32 and 33 and a variable fluid pressure generating means 15 for varying the fluid pressure of the liquid in the imitated blood vessel 31. The vascular motion simulator 10 can twist and deform the imitated blood vessel 31 as the both ends are relatively rotated by the driving of the servo-motor 14, and can generate the pulse pressure in the liquid in the imitated blood vessel 31 by the motion of the variable fluid pressure generating means 15.
