PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest insect eliminator attachable over a long period even at an attachment-difficult site so as to exhibit the eliminating actions, leaving an insecticidal component in an elimination target region for a long period even after the disappearance of foam, and not being scattered and not floating in air when being sprayed.
SOLUTION: The pest insect eliminator comprises a foamed mousse-shaped composition containing 0.1-1.0 wt.% glycol ether-based water-soluble solvent such as ethyleneglycol monoisobutyl ether having &le10 hPa vapor pressure at 20°C, 0.01-10 wt.% surfactant, 0.0001-5 wt.% insecticidal active ingredient such as an insect growth regulator, 0.0005-0.5 wt.% carrier powder such as amorphous silicic acid powder having 0.5-50 &mum average particle diameter, 0.00005-0.005 wt.% thickener such as xanthan gum, and water as essential components. The foam-sustaining time in a room at 25°C in 60% humidity is regulated so as to be 12-48 h when formed into 10 cm thickness of the foam by foaming.
