PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning method for an aircraft, which can further reduce a risk of infection with infectious diseases in the aircraft, and an air conditioning system used in the method.SOLUTION: An air conditioning method for an aircraft comprises: obtaining fresh air for ventilation by adjusting the pressure and temperature of fresh air, which is bled from an engine compressor 33 or the like and has a high temperature and a high pressure, to a predetermined pressure and a temperature, respectively; obtaining clean and recirculation air by using a part of air existing in a cabin 20 as recirculation air and by removing contaminants therefrom with use of a filter 41 or the like; preparing ventilation air by mixing the fresh air for ventilation and the clean and recirculation air; and supplying the ventilation air into the cabin. The fresh air for ventilation is irradiated with ultraviolet light emitted from ultraviolet light emitting diodes 45 to be subjected to ultraviolet sterilization. At this time, temperature of the ultraviolet light emitting diodes is controlled by fresh air bled from the outside of the aircraft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】航空機内での感染症感染のリスクをより低減することが可能な、航空機用空気調和方法及び該方法に用いる空気調和システムを提供する。【解決手段】エンジンコンプレッサー33等から抽気された高温高圧の新鮮空気の圧力及び温度を、夫々所定の圧力及び温度に調節することにより換気用新鮮空気を得ると共に、キャビン20内に存在する空気の一部を再循環用空気とし、フィルター41等を用いて汚染物質を除去して浄化再循環用空気を得、これらを混合して換気用空気を調製し、これをキャビン内に供給する航空機用空気調和方法において、換気用新鮮空気に紫外線発光ダイオード45から発光された紫外線を照射して紫外線殺菌を行う。このとき、機外から抽気した新鮮空気などによって紫外線発光ダイオードの温度制御を行う。【選択図】図1
