PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article and a fiber sheet having an excellent effect to deodorize feces such as urine.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes a deodorant-containing sheet containing a deodorant and &beta-glucuronidase inhibitor. The absorbent article 1 has a liquid retention absorbent core 5 and a core wrap sheet 6 for enclosing the absorbent core 5. The core wrap sheet 6 includes the deodorant-containing sheet. The &beta-glucuronidase inhibitor is contained in the absorbent core 5 and/or the core wrap sheet 6. The deodorant is one or more selected from the group consisting of activated carbon, inorganic-organic porous particles, and an antibacterial substance.
