PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide organic soil for plant growth, the soil being usable in terms of quality, quantity, and economy.SOLUTION: Soil for plant growth is obtained by immersing volcanic product deposit soil with pyroligneous acid solution to make the volcanic product deposit soil impregnated with the pyroligneous acid solution, pressing and crushing bark of woods mainly comprising Japanese cedar after subjecting the bark to fermentation, constructing bark compost having short fiber shape, and mixing the volcanic product deposit soil impregnated with the pyroligneous acid solution and the bark compost having short fiber shape. To make the short fiber-shaped bark compost has its short fiber shape, bark of woods mainly comprising Japanese cedar is removed from its woody part and piled up in a mountain form, inside of the piled up bark is kept in anaerobically fermenting condition and left about 6 months or more to form the bark in a fermented state, and the bark in a fermented state of woods mainly comprising Japanese cedar is pressed so as to be crushed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】品質的にも、量的にも、経済的にも使用可能な植物育成用の有機質土壌を提供する。【解決手段】火山噴出物の堆積土壌を、木酢液に浸漬することにより、木酢液の浸透した火山噴出物の堆積土壌とし、杉を主体とする木材の樹皮を、発酵させた後に押圧破砕し、短繊維状のバーク堆肥を構成し、前記木酢液を浸透させた火山噴出物の堆積土壌と、短繊維状のバーク堆肥とを混合した植物育成用土壌であり、短繊維状のバーク堆肥は、杉を主体とする木材の樹皮を、木質部から剥がして山状に積み上げて、該積み上げた状態の内部において、嫌気性発酵状態とし、約6ヶ月以上放置して、発酵状態の樹皮を形成し、該杉を主体とする木材の発酵状態の樹皮を押圧することにより破砕して短繊維状とした。【選択図】図1
