The present invention relates to a method for preparing cheonggukjang (fast-fermented bean paste) using a mulberry leaf extract and barley rice and, more specifically, to a method for preparing cheonggukjang which exhibits a superior flavor and contains a large amount of beneficial ingredients to health by using a mulberry leaf extract, barley rice, and roasted beans. According to the present invention, cheonggukjang which is beneficial to health and has very an excellent taste and flavor can be prepared by containing effective components of mulberry leaves and barley rice.
