PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel having a fishing line guiding device which excels in the operability at the time of releasing the fishing line and is capable of attaining a reduction in size of the reel body.SOLUTION: The fishing reel has the fishing line guiding device 20 including a slider body 22 which is mounted between the left and right side plates on the front side of a spool rotatably supported by a reel body 1, and is reciprocated left and right by a winding operation of the handle 8, and a swinging body 30 including one end portion rotatably supported on the lower side of the spool of the reel body 1 and the other end provided with a line guide 32 for guiding the fishing line.
