PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tomographic apparatus, enlarging the size of a visual field almost without alteration of hardware.
SOLUTION: This tomographic apparatus includes a motor 16 for rotating an FPD (flat panel type X-ray detector) 3 around the axis of a radiation shaft connecting an X-ray tube 2 and the center of a flat panel type X-ray detector (FPD) 3 and a function of controlling to perform rotary scanning in the state of rotating the FPD 3 around the axis of the irradiation shaft using a motor 16, thereby generating an area where the size of a visual field is enlarged by rotation of the irradiation shaft around the axis so that the size of a visual field can be enlarged almost without alteration of hardware.
