PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical long body that can be suitably inserted into a living body lumen, and can be restrained from unintentionally moving at a target site in the living body lumen.SOLUTION: A medical long body 10 comprises a main body part 20 extending in an axial direction, and a convex part 30 provided on an outer periphery of the main body part so as to protrude outward in a radial direction, and extending in the axial direction.
