PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute spare seedling-carrying platforms so as to provide easily a state in which the spare seedling-carrying platforms are arranged in the upper and lower direction at a prescribed interval, and a state in which the spare seedling-carrying platforms are arranged in one line state, in a riding-type rice transplanter.
SOLUTION: The riding-type rice transplanter is constituted as follows. Linking members 31 to 34 are installed so as to be freely turnable, and a plurality of the spare seedling-carrying platforms 51 to 54 are supported by the linking members 31 to 34. The first state in which the spare seedling-carrying platforms 51 to 54 are arranged in the upper and lower direction at the prescribed interval, and the second state in which the spare seedling-carrying platforms are arranged in one line state are constituted so as to be freely operable by the turning operation of the linking members 31 to 34. The spare seedling-carrying platforms 51 to 54 are constituted so as to be freely operated to the first and second states by carrying out the turning operations of linking members 31 to 34 in the states of the spare seedling-carrying platforms 51 to 54 carrying seedlings A by setting the lengths L2 of the spare seedling-carrying platforms 51 to 54 in the longitudinal direction may be longer than the lengths L1 of the seedlings A carried by the spare seedling-carrying platforms 51 to 54 in the longitudinal direction.
