PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which allows an inexpensive and versatile single row probe to be used, and allows authenticity of a tip of a puncture needle in a display image to be grasped easily, an ultrasonic image display method, a program, and an ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a reception signal acquisition unit for acquiring a first reception signal and a second reception signal whose beam width in a slice direction is smaller than that of the first reception signal； a B mode image generation unit for generating a first B mode image and a second B mode image on the basis of the first reception signal and the second reception signal； a display processing unit for displaying a display image based on the first B mode image and the second B mode image in a display unit； a determination unit for determining whether or not a tip of a puncture needle in the display image is an actual needle tip； and a presentation unit for presenting a determination result.
