Devices and methods for irradiation treatment of perfusate are disclosed. The device includes a tank defining a first chamber. The separator is located inside the first chamber. The separator defines a second chamber. The first chamber and the second chamber are concentric and have a substantially annular cross section, each having at least one diameter and a substantially common longitudinal axis. The perfusate is introduced into the first chamber through the inlet. An ultraviolet radiation device is located inside the second chamber to provide irradiation to the perfusate. The irradiated perfusate is removed from the tank through the outlet.
