Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Schneiden einer auf der Erdoberfläche aufliegenden Decke organischen Materials und ihre Verwendung. Um eine Vorrichtung zu schaffen, die das Pflanzen oder Säen auch bei Vorliegen einer geschlossenen Mulchdecke ermöglicht, wird im Rahmen der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, daß an einem Rahmen (1) mindestens ein angetriebenes Messer (21) und eine Schutzvorrichtung (20) angebracht sind. Das Messer (21) schneidet die geschlossene Mulchdecke auf und hält den Schlitz bis zum Schar der nachfolgenden konventionellen Pflanz- oder Sämaschine offen.The invention relates to a device for cutting a blanket of organic material lying on the ground and to the use thereof.
