PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in vivo image diagnostic probe preventing abnormal vibration when rotating at a high speed in a state of having a non-stored portion of a sheath by the movement to a proximal end side of a data acquisition shaft.
SOLUTION: This in vivo image diagnostic probe 1 comprises a sheath 3 and the data acquisition shaft 2 movable in the interior of the sheath 3. The data acquisition shaft 2 can axially move in the sheath 3 only between a first position, or the distal side in the sheath, and a second position, or a predetermined length toward the proximal side from the first position. The data acquisition shaft is provided in the interior of a hollow shaft 22 and has a vibration suppression section 20 that has a length same to or longer than the axially movable distance of the data acquisition shaft 2 and suppresses the vibration when the data acquisition shaft 2 rotates.
