The invention is related to agriculture, particularly to picking berries from bushes. The aim of the invention is to relieve the process of picking berries without harming bushes. The proposed device for picking berries comprises two mutually linked side-planes (1) with a band between them (2)； the band is stretched on two rotating sheaves where the upper is a driving sheave (3), but the lower is a driven sheave (4). On the surface of the device, there is an electric drive (11), supplied by a battery (12), and at the end of the handle, there is a device operating switch (13). The method of operating includes making it work and move forward, as a result, the band (2) is moving upwards, each pulling grip (5) catches a berry, removes it from the bush, but by rotating around the sheave (3) and by the band moving downwards, the pulling grips (5) turn downwards, and harvested berries fall into the rack-shaped container (9).Izgudrojums attiecas uz lauksaimniecības nozari, jo īpaši uz ogu novākšanu no ogulājiem.
