In a method of administering treatment substance (20) to a porous element (30) by means of a capsule (1) adapted for insertion into a bore (34) in the element and consisting of a container (2) having closed and open ends and a shank portion (3) connecting said ends and forming a treatment substance cavity within said container, and a plug (15) being partially fitted into the open end of the container, treatment substance is supplied to the element by driving the plug into the cavity to break open the shank portion and/or the closed end of the container. By introducing the capsule into the bore with the closed end of the container first, and by supporting the container adjacent said open end thereof against an outer surface of the porous element prior to driving the plug into the cavity, the capsule may be introduced into and activated in capsule receiving bores having optional depth.Selon la présente invention, dans un procédé dadministration dune substance de traitement (20) à un élément poreux (30) au moyen dune capsule (1) conçue pour être insérée dans un alésage (34) présent dans lélément et consistant en un contenant (2) présentant des extrémités fermée et ouverte et une partie darbre (3) raccordant lesdites extrémités et formant une cavité de substance de traitement à lintérieur dudit contenant, et un bouchon (15) partiellement disposé dans lextrémité ouverte du contenant, la substance de traitement est introduite dans lélément en dirigeant le bouchon dans la cavité pour ouvrir en cassant la partie darbre et/ou lextrémité fermée du contenant. En introduisant la capsule dans lalésage avec lextrémité fermée du contenant en premier, et en soutenant le contenant adjacent à ladite extrémité ouverte de celui-ci contre une surface externe de lélément poreux avant de diriger le bouchon dans la cavité, la capsule peut être introduite et activée dans des trous de réception de capsule ayant une profondeur facultative.
