PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold insulation device for dead body for funeral that allows a dead body or a coffin holding a dead body to be appropriately mounted on mount means without raising the dead body or coffin upward.SOLUTION: A cold insulation device 1 for dead body for funeral comprises a container body 2 which is formed of a box-state member capable of housing a dead body or a coffin K which contains a dead body and which has an upper part open for allowing visual checking of the dead body from above mounting means 3 which is provided in the container body 2 and on which the dead body or the coffin K can be mounted and cooling means (a pipeline 4 and a main body 5) provided in the container body 2 and can cool the dead body in the container body 2. An opening/closing door D is formed on a wall of the container body 2, and by opening the opening/closing door D, the dead body or the coffin K is moved in an almost horizontal direction for mounting the dead body or the coffin on the mounting means 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
