PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cardiopulmonary function evaluation device and a cardiopulmonary function evaluation method capable of appropriately grasping a state of a cardiopulmonary function of a subject (for example, an improvement level of a cardiopulmonary function and a comparison with cardiopulmonary functions of the same generation) using one-time cardiac output (SV).SOLUTION: Electrocardiogram measurement means 2 measures an electrocardiogram of a subject. Photoelectric pulse wave detection means 3 measure a photoelectric pulse wave of the subject. Heart rate calculation means 5 calculates a heart rate (HR) of the subject on the basis of the electrocardiogram. PWTT calculation means 4 calculates a pulse wave propagation time (PWTT) of the subject on the basis of the electrocardiogram and the photoelectric pulse wave.
