PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bactericidal/deodorizing agent that can easily and effectively sterilize infectious bacteria and remove odorous components in a service environment, particularly a bactericidal/deodorizing agent that can effectively sterilize infectious bacteria of pet animals and remove odorous components and moreover has no problems from the viewpoint of safety.
SOLUTION: The bactericidal/deodorizing agent comprises a silver-hydroxyapatite suspension that is obtained by admixing silver atomized to a set-up particle size or less with a liquid to give a silver colloid solution, admixing hydroxyapatite atomized to a set-up particle size or less to give a hydroxyapatite solution, and dispersing the silver colloid solution in the hydroxyapatite solution.
