The proposed report discloses injectable self setting hydroxyapatite and a process to produce hydroxyapatite-carboxyl methyl cellulose composite for the use as a injectable scaffold suitable for bone graft applications. Obtained product has been characterized and confirmed using X ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Fourier Transform Infra-red Spectroscopy and compressive mechanical properties.
