PURPOSE: A bamboo vegetation mat using bamboo, and a producing method thereof are provided to prevent the vegetation mat from slipping and influencing the vegetation environment of the cutting area. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a bamboo vegetation mat comprises the following steps: twisting 3~20strands of bamboo fiber(111) with the diameter of 1~5mm, and 3~20strands of natural fiber(112), to obtain a bamboo rope(110)； tying both ends of the bamboo rope using a string(114) for preventing the rope from loosening； crossing plural bamboo ropes to weave a net shaped mat； adding a natural fiber rope among the bamboo ropes； and tying the obtained bamboo vegetation mat with the string.본 발명은 길고 가늘게 쪼개진 대나무섬유(表皮)와 천연섬유를 함께 꼬아서 대나무로프를 형성하고 상기 대나무로프를 가로와 세로로 베를 짜듯이 직조하여 그물형상의 식생매트를 제조함으로써 대나무가 갖는 인장력과 탄성, 그리고 천연섬유가 갖는 잔디씨의 배양 및 식물의 식생능력 등을 이용하여 절개면의 표면을 견고하게 지지할 수 있도록 하여 토사의 흘러내림을 최소화하며, 토사가 흘러내려 쌓인다고 하더라도 부러지거나 함께 쓸려 내려가지 않도록 함으로써 절개지를 보호할 수 있는 대나무를 재질로 하는 대나무 식생매트 및 그의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
