The invention as disclosed herein provides pharmaneutical compositions and methods for treating, ameliorating, or preventing the symptoms of Parkinsons Disease. The pharmaneutical compositions of the invention contain in an effective amount a first and a second composition, the first composition comprises an effective amount of one or more phosphatidylcholine formulations and the second composition comprises an effective amount of one or more constituents comprising essential fatty acid supplements, trace minerals, butyrate, electrolytes, methylating agents, reduced glutathione, or a combination thereof, in a suitable carrier.
