A modular system for placement in a patient is disclosed. In one exemplary embodiment, a first tubular body portion (12) and a second tubular body portion (14) are provided. The second tubular body portion (14) may be located at least partially distally of the first body portion (12). A distal end of the first tubular body portion (12) may comprise a first taper, and a proximal end of the second tubular body portion (14) may comprise a second taper. The first and second taper may form a working space in a deployed state.
