PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse diagnostic apparatus by which a physician without a skill of a pulse diagnosis based on Chinese medicine, a physician who cannot perform a pulse diagnosis on a patient located in a remote location, or further a pharmacist who is not permitted to perform a pulse diagnosis by making contact with a patient can acquire a pulse diagnostic result based on the Chinese medicine.
SOLUTION: The pulse diagnostic apparatus comprises a pulse wave measuring part 410 for acquiring pulse wave data about a pulse wave which is a waveform acquired by measuring a pulse of the patient, a pressing force determining part 402 for comparing the acquired pulse wave data with a pulse wave type data in which a pulse parameter including at least one of pressure applied to the pulse of the patient at the time of the measurement, a frequency of the measured pulse wave, the waveform, an amplitude and an amplitude ratio of the waveform, and a measuring range of the pulse is related to types of pulse waves to specify the type of the pulse wave shown by the pulse wave data, a pressure range determining part 403, a heart rate determining part 404, a waveform determining part 405, a pulse wave determining part 406, and a display 202 for outputting information based on the specified type of the pulse wave.
