This invention, referred to as "Multifunction Farm Cultivator" is a double wheeled hand drawn equipment which performs multifunctions such as weeding, chemical spraying, seeding etc. Skeletal framework consists of a two wheeled carrier, a base plate, having provisions for fitment of active components, and an adjustable handle. Active components include chemical spraying unit, weeding plow, a funnel shaped seeding unit and row marker. Chemical sprayer and weeding plow are fitted together as spraying and weed removal operations are normally done simultaneously. A cam-follower mechanism, connecting wheels and sprayer, is used for operating sprayer pump. Different sizes of plows are used for different working widths, thereby, making this equipment usable for other crops also. Seeding unit is fitted in place of spraying unit during seeding operation. A belt-pulley arrangement, connecting wheels and seed hopper, is used for operating seeding unit. A row marker, fitted along with seeding unit, marks rows simultaneously, helping consistent and equi-spaced seeding. All operations are done using motive power of wheels only. This equipment simultaneously performs many operations, saving lot of labor and time. In addition, it performs other operations like hilling, tiling etc. The entire equipment is fabricated with inexpensive locally available components and all fitments are done by clamping with nut-bolts only, thereby, making assembling, dissembling and maintenance easy. This equipment is easily affordable even by small landholders because of simplicity of its design and manual operations.
