DP-2 antagonists by reducing the cell death induced by PGD 2 and sustain the growth of keratinocytes, PGD 2-dependent manner was reverse-capacity-mediated human hair growth inhibition in vitro. Hair follicles from approximately half of the alopecia patients were hardly affected by the effects of PGD 2 in vitro . SNPs of the human DP-2 gene related to inhibition of hair growth by PGD 2 were identified. These results highlight the role of DP-2 in regulating hair growth and indicate that DP-2 may be an effective approach to the prevention and / or treatment of androgenetic alopecia in patients who are sensitive to PGD 2 . In addition, the SNPs identified herein can be used to identify patients who will benefit from treatment.DP-2 길항제는 PGD2에 의해 유발된 세포 사멸을 감소시키고, 각질세포의 증식을 유지함으로써, PGD2-매개된 인간 모발 성장 억제를 시험관내에서 용량-의존적 방식으로 역전시켰다. 탈모증 환자의 약 절반으로부터의 모낭은 시험관내에서 PGD2의 효과에 거의 영향을 받지 않았다.
