<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model animal useful for guessing and evaluating the pharmacokinetics, efficacy and safety of a human drug capable of being metabolized by the drug-metabolizing enzymes of a CYP3A family, and capable of appropriately evaluating the effects of the enzyme group to the drug metabolism. <；P>；SOLUTION: This method for selecting a model animal used for testing the pharmacokinetics, efficacy and/or safety on a drug candidate for humans is provided by including a step of detecting the polymorphism of genes encoding the drug-metabolizing enzymes belonging to the CYP3A family in an individual body of an ape, and a step of evaluating whether or not the polymorphism can change the expression and/or function of the drug-metabolizing enzyme. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
